Also String Theory: Cohesion kann ich nur empfehlen. Von der Handlung her spannend, die Charakterkonstellation ist auch nicht schlecht: Seven und B'Elanna hocken gemeinsam auf einem Planten fest... nette Kombi... dadurch wird auf dem Schiff der Charakter von Carey mehr beleuchtet.
Das Buch ist zwischen der vierten und fünften Staffel angesiedelt.

Das Buch hat auch seine humorvollen Momente, wenn es um das Verhältnis vom XO zu Shuttles geht beispielsweise. Doch auch Janeway-Fans (*g*) kommen durchaus auf ihre Kosten, auch wenn der Schwerpunkt der Handlung mehr auf anderen Personen liegt.


String Theory: Fusion
Von einem anderen Autor als der erste Teil steht diesem jedoch nicht nach.
Nette Dialoge, hin und wieder mal leicht romantische Untertöne, spannende, z.T. leicht verwirrende Handlungsstränge.
Man muss nicht zwangsläufig Teil I gelesen haben, aber es wäre nicht schlecht.

"We've had an intruder aboard, possibly another Nacene, who altered the crew's memories and pretended to be the captain's sister. As you can see, we've recovered Tuvok, but apparently he's been infected by an alien parasite. An earlier version of you who has been runnig for the past hours doesn't believe he can be saved. We're still aboard the array and ther is reason to believe that more parasites may be out there. Oh, and the captain is missing."
The Doctor raised a cynical eyebrow and retorted without missing a beat, "So in other words, it's a pretty light day aboard the starship Voyager."
B'Elanna couldn't help herself. Smiling broardly she planted a kiss on the Doctor's cheek and said, "It's good to have you back. I really missed you."
Only once Lieutenant Torres had left did the Doctor add quietly to himself, "Someday someone really ought to write all of this down for posterity."

"So..." Harry began, after Tom had halfheartedly congratulated him on his work, "how's it coming down here?"
Tom shrugged, dejected. "Don't asked," he replied.
Harry looked about the shuttlebay and soon saw the fully functional tetryon transport station that had been set up. "Tom, this is amazing," he said, crossing to examine its operational parameters, adding, "I didn't think you'd be able to get this far."
"I did," Tom replied. "But thanks anyway for your vote of confidence."
"So what's the problem?" Harry asked.
"You want them in alphabetical order, or order of importance?" Tom answered.

String Theory: Evolution
Es kommt zur Auflösung - allerdings nicht so einfach wie es klingt. Wieder von einem anderen Autor wartet auch Teil drei noch mit neuen Dingen auf. Harry und Tom sind weg, ebenso der Doctor und Janeway ist - sagen wir mal - nicht ganz lebendig.
Einige alte Bekannte tauchen auf, u.a. Q, allerdings hat er weniger mit dem Ganzen zu schaffen als man meine möchte, wenn man seinen Namen vernimmt.

Alles in allem kann ich diese drei Bücher nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie sind zum Mitfühlen, zum Lachen, zum Knoten-im-Hirn-Bekommen und sie sind Star Trek wie man es sich wünscht.
